THE FOOTHILL THEATRE COMPANY For
32-years The Foothill Theatre Company has been producing live theatre
for the communities of Nevada County, and beyond. The 2008
season
is uniquely shaping up to be very American in nature, offering
an
exciting array of contemporary and classical fare, Tony Award and
Pulitzer Prize winners,
musicals, comedies, dramas - a veritable theatre feast!
Through
2008, The Foothill Theatre Company plans to expand its
Education
Program (Studio FTC), that offers low-cost student matinees that
feature an educational talk-back session for grades 3-12. FTC
also plans to open the Student Apprentice program to include all areas
of theatre production. The non-profit organization's mission
statement clearly identifies it's commitment to the
arts and
community: "The Mission of The Foothill
Theatre Company is to serve our community through professional theatre
that entertains and challenges and enriches." Without
doubt this season will be as rewarding to the senses as the past
32-years of successful standing ovation performances. Owners: Non-Profit Organization supported/directed by the Board of Directors.
