Gold Country Families E-Magazine is dedicated to providing families, parents, and grandparents information and links to family friendly travel, lodging, camping, dining, entertainment, events, and vacation destinations in and around the Gold Country foothills of California, as well as around the Western United States and beyond.  Our mission is to offer useful information, articles, and resources to tourist, visitors, and local residents alike, regarding the wonderful world that exists not only in their own backyards, but also around the globe.

Our writers are themselves, parents and/or grandparents, who enjoy sharing their adventures and experiences while exploring new, or revisiting familiar, family friendly travels, lodging, campgrounds, restaurants, entertainment, and vacation destinations.  Gold Country Families E-Magazine as well encourages its readers to submit their own wonderful experiences and/or adventures to be posted in the Reader Stories section so family members, friends, and a host of others can enjoy and relate to their heart-felt warm moments, uniquely bizarre circumstances, humorous developments, and disastrous situations.

For easy access and navigation, the articles, information, and resources are separated into a variety of self-explanatory categories listed in the left column of every page:  Family Destinations, Parental Get-a-Ways, Reader Stories, Events/Activities, Restaurants,  Weather/Fire/Roads, beneficial Resource Links, Writer Queries, Advertising, Newsletter Sign-up, and the Contacts page.  Advertisements are located on each of these pages in the column on the right (as exampled on this page's right column) with direct links to a much broader expanded version of the advertisement elsewhere on the website that can include direct links to the advertiser’s website.

Gold Country Families E-Magazine within the last year reinvigorated, updated, and incorporated new and exciting changes into both the Gold Country Families E-Magazine website and the accompanying monthly Newsletter.  These wonderful changes will be reviewed, expanded, and adjusted as need arises to maximize traffic through the website.  With the increased promotion of the website, the new content, added photos, and an attractively appealing face-lift, Gold Country Families E-Magazine and Newsletter’s traffic and advertisement exposure continues to increase.

Gold Country Families E-Magazine sends it FREE newsletter to over 375 subscribers each month, and averages 7,000 page visits and over 13,000 hits to each monthly edition.  

Gold Country Families will put together the advertisement that best fits the format and style of the Magazine with the input and support of the advertiser prior to posting the advertisement on the website.
